Abstract: This report contains a straightforward statistical summary of adult (16+) cyclists injured in road crashes reported in South Australia for the period of 2009 to 2018 obtained from the Traffic Accident Reporting System (TARS). A set of tables based on various characteristics of the crashes is presented, detailing the times of the crashes, the places, the site details and circumstances, the demographics of the cyclists, the demographics of the other vehicles and their drivers, and the outcomes of the crashes. The tables are also grouped by age groups of the cyclists, the postcodes of the crashes, and by injury severity of the cyclist. The purpose of this report is to stimulate further insight and investigation into cyclist crashes.
