Abstract: Two dogs were presented with dermal arteritis of the nasal philtrum associated with repeated episodes of bleeding. Described treatment for this condition consists of long-term, usually life-long medication with various combinations of immune suppressant and anti-inflammatory medication. This paper describes a novel surgical approach to the condition that induced long-term remission in both cases.
