dc.description.abstractWe report a directly-written Tm3+:ZBLAN waveguide chip laser with M2 = 1.12 ± 0.08 from a large 45 μm diameter waveguide. We demonstrate 1.9 kW Q-switched pulses at 1.9 μm and 67% slope efficiency.-
